new additions

This year has started very productive in the studio. I was contacted by a friend, who opened a lovely shop called Mariom Rose down in the POPUPHOOD, to carry some work and be one of their vendors. Hopefully this will keep me very busy this year as well as make a little dough. I recently make a silk screening station out of my old drafting table and transformed my dads old steamer trunk for a desk. The studio is all cleaned up and organized ready for working.

shroom hunting

last year i was fortunate to get some foraging for mushrooms at a friends cabin in South Lake Tahoe. He has been foraging near his cabin for a few years now and was able share some experience and knowledge of some of these delectable micro organisms.

we were able to find some king bollets and some oysters, and some more psychedelic mushrooms .
The king was amazing in the morning, we cleaned em up and and cooked them with some eggs and cheese. The oysters I brought home and made a nice mushroom sandwich.

on the road till september

so i took a gig with a media company this summer. traveling the united states with an airstream trailer collecting aha moments, filming, photographing and travel blogging. ive met some really awesome people on our journeys and have come to love small town america. i brought my bike along and have enjoyed many rides with people and through these small towns. the coffee bike has been put on hold for a little while, but will be in action soon enough. hearing all these stories of life changing experiences has really inspired me to start something when i get back to the bay area. you can follow our adventure at http://blog.ahamoment.com
